But I was really really expecting Blaine to admit to considering suicide. And then Shue.
However, in it being Schue they were able to move past it much more quickly (in an already dense episode) because of the fact that he’s had many years in order to consider his actions and the consequences.
He’s their teacher, he’s teaching them a lesson that he learned the hard way. We know Schue is fine - admitting to meeting them, meeting Emma. Schue’s was a message of moving forward with the benefit of years of reflection…
However we still don’t know if Blaine is fine (from what’s been given to us, he’s not, or wasn’t until very recently with his time at Dalton + Kurt.) That’s not to say a revelation from B wouldn’t have been just as poignant or timely, but it would require a lot more (Kurt/Blaine/ND interaction, screen time, a backstory for Blaine) than Schue’s monologue did.
So this was (for once) an appropriate moment for Schue to have.
